In an effort to be better environmental stewards, we strive to reduce, reuse, and recycle by using materials from our own back yard. On a recent afternoon we explored the swamps just outside of New Orleans. Here we find enormous logs of sinker cypress trees sunken on the swampy bottoms. These ancient trees have been underwater for over 100 years and with modern technology we're able to dig them up and reuse the wood to make amazing and storied furniture.
